Help the Museum fulfill its vital mission through the John Russell Pope Society.

Named for the nationally known architect who designed Broad Street Station, the John Russell Pope Society honors those who recognize the importance of investing in the Museum's great presence in the community today and its work engaging and inspiring generations to come.

Built to last in granite and steel, Pope's innovations in design and engineering ensure Broad Street Station's lasting value. The building embodies a multidisciplinary approach that inspires Virginians to enrich their lives through science.

Members of the John Russell Pope Society partner with the Museum in teaching the public about science and the role of science in human progress.

These donors have named the Science Museum as the ultimate beneficiary of a planned gift. Such gifts might include a bequest and/or charitable income gifts, such as charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, or gifts of life insurance.

Please join the John Russell Pope Society by informing the Science Museum of Virginia Foundation that you have remembered it in your financial or estate plans. The Foundation will keep any details that you choose to supply secure and confidential and will respect anonymity as well, if desired.

It is helpful to notify the Foundation about your intention, especially if you plan to designate your gift for a particular purpose or if it concerns specific property.

Please accept our gratitude if you have already made provision for the Museum in your planning. We invite you to consider contacting Kinsey Peeler at (804) 864-1542 or srockwell@smv.org.
